The motorcycles are making their way to San Diego as we speak. Here is a picture of their location as we speak. Half way there already. Today, we arranged for a few maintenance items to be taken care of at the motorcycle dealer in San Diego to ensure that the bikes are in perfect shape before we take off.
On a personal note, it is always interesting to me that regardless of how many times I embark on motorcycle adventures like these, the usual thoughts and feelings begin to materialize - thoughts about family and love, the risk, the excitement of the adventure, the unpredictability of the unknown, the excitement of meeting new people, new ways of thinking, new perspectives, and ultimately the excitement of the potential for a breakthrough discovery about life and/or the universe : )
